Friends! I just got the BEST news!! Yesterday morning, my life was changed FOREVER. And definitely for the better!!! I’m not sure if I mentioned this before, but I’ve been on the waiting list for a CentriKid team leader position since December-ish. I was in my Microbiology class yesterday, learning about mutations on genes, and I checked my email on my phone. There was one from CentriKid so my heart immediately skipped a beat. THEN… bum bum buuummmm…I read the subject line. “CentriKid Position Offer!” MY HEART DID BACKFLIPS! I was so excited! I was still in my Microbiology class, so I had to contain my excitement for when I got out of there. My brain was swirling around in my head, my heart was jump roping, my skin got goose bumps! (You know my brain wasn’t really swirling, and my heart wasn’t jump roping, right? Metaphors for how excited I was.) I am SO excited. I just sent out my paperwork today. Next Sunday, the day after my birthday, I will find out about the team I’m going to be on, and everything else, hopefully!
