The start of my CentriKid summer!

So today was finally the day where I got to meet my CK1 team! When I got to the airport, and more people started showing up I began getting more and more excited. I think we sat on the floor for about 45 minutes just played some describe-the-clue game. So much fun! Everyone was so funny.

After a while, we were off to Kentucky to meet up with the rest of our team. My van was super talkative at first, but 30 or so minutes into the drive, we were all asleep. We were all super tired.

When we pulled up to Campbellsville U, all the staffers who were already there were cheering and yelling. I think that's when I began feeling overwhelmed, honestly. We did a bunch of housekeeping stuff and learned how CK originated, which was actually really interesting.

Later on, a group of us CK1-ers went down to the volleyball field and had fun joking around and laughing with (and at) each other. I can already tell me feeling overwhelmed was just a feeling of being tired and excited.

So, that's all for now...I'm going to bed. We have to be up and ready by 645 tomorrow. Yay for group pictures! Welcome to CentriKid :)
